About the Role:

Our client, a leading company in IoT is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will focus on designing, developing, and testing electronic systems for cutting-edge products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design, embedded systems, and hardware development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, from concept through to production.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware and mechanical engineers, to integrate hardware solutions.
  • Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping.
  • Perform hardware testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure seamless production.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronics engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, power electronics, and analogue/digital design.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and spectrum analysers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
