For Companies SR2 are currently looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer for a new customer of ours in the AI safety sector.
Location: Central London (3 – 4 days a week onsite).
Salary: ÂŁ105,000 – 115,000.
Role & Responsibilities:
// As the Senior Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the tech team to help deliver key projects on time, ensuring the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient.
// Help in building the infrastructure from the ground up.
// Design and provision the infrastructure that their researchers depend on daily and contribute to the software platform they build on top of this infrastructure.
// Administer and secure internal AWS accounts.
// Provision and maintain an internal Kubernetes cluster.
// Help set up and manage organisation-wide security processes.
// Manage CI/CD pipelines.
// As the infrastructure specialist on a small team, you\’ll have broad decision-making authority on their infrastructure stack.
// You will set best practices and compliance for cloud environments to drive the technical direction of the business.
// Work closely with senior management introduce new ideas that will benefit the team and the wider business.
Required Skills:
// Strong experience with AWS.
// Good hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
// Experience with IaC (Terraform preferred).
// Software engineering skills (ideally Python).
// Proficient in CI/CD tools, version control systems, and containerisation technologies (such as Docker).
// Experience leading & working on infrastructure projects from start to finish.
// Exposure to LLM evaluations would be a big plus!
