RF Test Engineers needed - Outside IR35 - SC Cleared.

We are seeking two RF Test Engineers to work on cutting-edge research and development projects.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our next-generation surveillance radar system.

Outside of IR35 - Edinburgh based.

Positions Available:

  • RF Test Engineer (Antenna Development)
  • RF Test Engineer (Receiver Development)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead applied research work-packages and feasibility studies.
  • Document and report findings, providing RF architectural recommendations.
  • Drive the creation of a digital antenna concept for advanced surveillance radar.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive RF/microwave experience across the full lifecycle at Principal or Senior level.
  • Expertise in AR (technical study investigation).
  • Strong background in concept development, including defining architectures and partitioning.
  • Proficiency in lab prototyping for rapid development.
  • Skilled in hardware requirement specification definition.
  • Experience with schematic capture and ECAD layout support, including prototyping.
  • Ability to produce documentation to support formal design processes.
  • Competence in design verification testing.
  • Specific experience in radar development.
  • Specialization in antenna development (for Antenna Development role).
  • Specialization in receiver development (for Receiver Development role).
  • Capability to technically supervise junior engineers.
