The Role
You’ll be the driving force behind delivering results across a portfolio of client campaigns—combining strategic insight with hands-on execution in both SEO and PPC. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency setting and loves working collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage & optimise PPC campaigns (primarily Google Ads), focusing on ROI and continuous performance improvements
- Lead comprehensive SEO strategies including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisation, technical audits, and content direction
- Use tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others to analyse data and inform decisions
- Monitor campaign performance against key KPIs, proactively adjusting tactics to meet and exceed targets
- Deliver clear, insightful monthly reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Confidently present strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to clients
- Lead regular client meetings and check-ins, providing guidance and forward-thinking plans
- Manage and develop one direct report (SEO & PPC Executive), offering ongoing support, training, and performance reviews
- Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute fresh ideas to ensure the agency’s digital services remain cutting-edge
- Play an active role in growing the agency's digital offering and reputation
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience managing both SEO and PPC campaigns in an agency or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
- Confident communicator, both with internal teams and client-facing presentations
- Leadership qualities and a desire to help team members grow and succeed
- A valid UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (for occasional client visits or meetings)
