Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Nuclear background in Safety Case or Nuclear Safety Assessments
- HAZARD Identification
- Experience of undertaking nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN)
- Experience of developing and delivering a nuclear safety case
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Ability to technically write safety case documents
- Manage and work with delivery partners - strong stakeholder skills at all levels
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Degree or equivalent in a science-based / engineering subject
Role information:
To provide extensive specialist subject matter expertise in the assessment of nuclear, explosive and other major hazards associated with actual, planned and/or decommissioned facilities, plant, equipment or product. To advise on strategies for the development of safety assessments (safety case/safety basis/risk assessments). Develops and delivers complex safety analyses, assessments and associated documentation.
