A unique opportunity to manage Emilia’s Flagship Boutique on Sloane Street overseeing a small team, you will strive to create the best experiences for clients taking them through the world of Emilia Wickstead in an intimate and inspiring environment.
In this dynamic setting, the Store Manager will be able to quickly adapt to the brand clients, collections and growth ensuring smooth running operations as well as working closely with Emilia and reporting to other heads of departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide impeccable customer service in a luxury boutique environment that offers bespoke and ready-to-wear offerings
- Hosting client appointments following the client’s journey from initial contact through to fittings and final collection.
- Maximisng on all new sales opportunities through building client relationships and brand loyalty
- Liaise with relevant departments internally to facilitate a seamless customer experience.
- Motivate and challenge retail store team communicating sales targets, new initiatives and other pertinent issues.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring store stock including stock counts, WSL restocking, end of season send backs.
- Actively monitoring the team ensuring that merchandise presentation reflect VM standards and general tidiness and cleanliness of the boutique is maintained at all times
- Demonstrate empowerment to solve customer problems and meet customers’ needs.
- Effectively report upon sales, KPI’s and store updates to senior management and other internal teams.
- Recruit, develop, motivate and engage team members to provide impeccable customer service, exceed targets and have detailed knowledge of the brand, garments and collections.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- At least 3 years management experience in a luxury, ready-to-wear and bespoke environment
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Energetic nature, great to be around, motivating and empowering the team
- Detail oriented, highly organised and results driven
- A positive team player with a pro-active and self motivated attitude
- Knowledge of garment construction/design would be beneficial
- Industry awareness and strong knowledge of market trends
