About the Role:
I’m currently working with one of the biggest names in commercial fit-out operating nationally. My client is looking for a talented Project Manager to join their fantastic Midlands team, delivering commercial fit-out projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractor management, procurement scheduling, and logistics planning.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, maintaining strong communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the commercial team to monitor costs, variations, and contract compliance.
- Ensure all health & safety regulations are rigorously adhered to, conducting regular site inspections and managing risk assessments.
- Manage project programmes and milestones, identifying and resolving potential delays or issues proactively.
- Chair regular site meetings and progress reviews with all relevant stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of high performance and attention to detail across the delivery team.

Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out projects, ideally within office, retail, or hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive performance on site and maintain strong client relationships.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta, or similar).
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage cost control, variations, and procurement.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certification (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
