The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Unite People are working with a specialist civils & construction contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in Durham.

Working with the main contractor, you will be required to set out and provide for both the groundworks elements and new-build of a commercial scheme, including drainage, externals, HD bolts, steel and a car park.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

  • CSCS Card
  • HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
  • Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of groundworks packages and steel frame packages
  • Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets
  • Understanding of setting out, using and EDM/ Total station
  • Preferably provide laptop and surveying software
