Unite People are working with a specialist civils & construction contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in Durham.
Working with the main contractor, you will be required to set out and provide for both the groundworks elements and new-build of a commercial scheme, including drainage, externals, HD bolts, steel and a car park.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- CSCS Card
- HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
- Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of groundworks packages and steel frame packages
- Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets
- Understanding of setting out, using and EDM/ Total station
- Preferably provide laptop and surveying software
