We are looking for a passionate digital marketing manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to help us on our mission to create a zero carbon, zero bill and zero friction future for our customers. Our internal venture studio is where we turn ground-breaking ideas into reality.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
- Venture-led growth strategy: Craft and execute go-to-market strategies from zero-to-one, positioning new ventures for scale by identifying market opportunities, building early traction, and driving customer acquisition and retention through data-informed experimentation.
- Growth experimentation & performance loops: Design and test full-funnel growth strategies for potential products or propositions, continuously learning from performance data, user behaviour, and product-market feedback.
- Digital marketing strategy and content: Develop, test and refine innovative marketing strategies and valuable, relevant and consistent content for new first-of-a-kind, zero-to-one ventures with the potential to disrupt the energy industry.
- Inbound and outbound marketing: Develop, test and refine campaigns to establish optimal early adopter and early majority ROI including organic and paid search marketing and SEO.
- Social media marketing and social engagement: Develop, test and refine social marketing plans to maximise communications, relationships and participation.
- Omni channel marketing: Ensure customer connection, conversion and continuous engagement journeys are consistent across all relevant channels.
- Engage with customers: Participate and contribute to customer interviews, analyse user needs and validate product-market fit.

- Early stage start-up experience: You've seen opportunities from ideation to reality, acquiring real customers and iterating based feedback and analytics.
- Excellent communications, stakeholder management and matrix skills: You understand the challenges of building something new and are passionate about creating solutions that people love.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: You can identify market opportunities, analyse complex situations, and develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
- Experience with lean start-up methodologies, agile development: You're familiar with iterative marketing plan development and you can extract insights from analytics and user research and translate them into marketing plans.
- Strong financial acumen: Including experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and managing marketing budgets and ROI.
- A self-starter: With a bias for action and a relentless focus on achieving results.

- Experience leveraging AI with digital marketing.
- Experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience of working as an innovator in a large corporate body.
- Experience in pitching for funding at early stages (Seed or Series A).
