We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Wirer Assembler to join a growing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical and electronic components, ensuring quality and compliance with engineering drawings and build specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wiring and assembly of electrical panels, looms, control boxes, and sub-assemblies
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Carry out point-to-point wiring, crimping, soldering, and cable routing
- Conduct continuity checks and basic testing of assembled units
- Follow work instructions and build documentation accurately
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to resolve build issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly process
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a wiring or assembly role (electrical or electro-mechanical)
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Competent with hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
