Client Summary: Service and repair of Rolling Stock Doors (Passenger)
Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Rolling Stock Technician to join a small but busy team responsible for refit/overhaul project of Rolling Stock Doors systems and windows. Working a day shift within the heart of the Client's Site, the role will be assisting in the removal of systems and seals as well as the resetting of said door systems.
Person Profile/Experience:
- You will be hands on, competent and confident on the tools and be capable of working to engineering drawings and schematics.
- You will be physically fit and healthy.
- Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy regarding being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work. Regular random checks are carried out to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in a mechanical fitting skill set desirable.
- Experience supersedes all.
- Rolling Stock Doors Experience.
