Driver Hire Taunton & Bridgwater are seeking NLGV van drivers for our client based in Castle Cary on a Temp / Ad hoc basis with an immediate start. The role does have the potential to become a Full Time position within the company. Our client is a leading supplier of animal medical supplies to vet practices throughout the South of England.
The successful candidate will be trained on a couple of new set routes with up to 20 deliveries per route.
Key responsibilities:- To carry out delivery of medical supplies to vets on a set route
- Accurate completion of deliveries using a hand held scanner (Full Training is provided)
- Vehicle is driven in a safe manner in accordance with the Highway code
- Daily vehicle checks are completed with any defects reported to the on duty manager
- A valid UK Cat B driving licence
- Have no more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
- Available to start early, any time between 04.00 hrs & 07.00 hrs
- To be able to demonstrate multi drop experience up to 20 drops per day
- Available to start immediately
- Pay rates start from £12.40 per hour with supplements for nights & overtime (PAYE)
- Weekly paid wages

- Pension contributions after qualifying period
