Sales experience within the engineering sector is essential for this role. This role is based at our client’s Coventry office. There is no hybrid working. Travel to client sites is essential.
Purpose of the role: To lead and deliver the annual sales objective for the business including:
- Drive business growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans targeting the automotive, engineering and new sectors.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key clients, including major OEMs.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales KPIs and revenue goals.
- Creating profitable sales accounts with new clients.
- Maximising current customer base.
- Developing sales and marketing strategies to enhance the target sales growth.
- Creating diverse sector portfolio across the Group.
- Represent the brand and company values at any networking events and meetings.
- Implement a strategic plan to achieve export growth.
- Pipeline management.
- Supplier liaison.
Required:
- 5 Years sales experience (within the engineering sector) including experience of successfully managing complex sales proposals and negotiations.
- Ability to deliver against tight milestones targeted KPI’s.
- Time Management.
- High level of professionalism.
- Excellent communicator/presenter.
- Ability to work on Multi Task projects and manage time efficiently.
- Forward thinking, and a desire to solve challenges.
- Ability to present at Director level to external/internal stakeholders.
- Flexible with travel - this role supports the UK.
Hours: 37 hrs per week - 8.00am till 4.30pm - Monday to Thursday and 8.00am - 11.00am Friday. Due to the senior nature of this role some additional out of hours work may be required.
