Our client, a successful and well-respected independent Estate Agent in Rickmansworth, is looking to expand their team with a Lettings Negotiator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with ideally 6 months previous experience, as there is a great opportunity to progress in your career. The team is fun yet hardworking and has an incredibly low turnover of staff, which speaks volumes about the company as employers.
The successful candidate will require the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have excellent presentation, good business winning skills, and a strong customer focus. The role also requires the confidence and skill to build trust and rapport with all clients and customers. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
Benefits and salary package for the role include:
- Basic £21,000 - £25,500 DOE
- OTE £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
- Government pension scheme opt-in available
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 4pm - 1 Saturday off a month, 5-day working week
- Support and costs paid for the relevant qualifications and career development
- Use of company pool car or use of own vehicle at the mileage rate of 35p per mile
Responsibilities of the Lettings Negotiator position include:
- Maintain updated in-house lettings folder and specific lettings software
- Set up, accompany and follow up on viewings as required
- Fully manage the applicant lists, applicant management, communication and systems
- Manage the referencing of new tenants and all processes and paperwork involved
- Legal, banking, file maintenance, general administration
- Develop the skills required to carry out valuations and follow these through to instructions
- Assist with the property management of fully managed properties
- Assist with the service to landlords
- Be a team player and step in where needed within the office whether that involves sales or lettings enquiries and phone calls etc.
