KiddyKare are currently looking for an experienced Manager for a well-established setting based in the outskirts of Thatcham. This role offers a generous salary, paired with a supportive team and fantastic benefits. The setting has a lovely outside environment as well as surrounded by fantastic areas for outings.

Hours per week: 40

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Duties include:

  • To be responsible for and to oversee the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation, and smooth running of the nursery.
  • To ensure the EYFS curriculum is promoted and delivered to an outstanding level within the setting.
  • To assist staff development and training.
  • To actively promote and support the overall safeguarding of the setting.
  • To have a key role in the planning and monitoring of the nursery and implementing essential policies and procedures.
  • To lead a team of professional workers, always ensuring outstanding practice.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as a nursery manager
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years
  • Strong safeguarding and EYFS knowledge
  • Previous OFSTED experience
  • Passion
