The Role
We are looking for a creative and driven Graphic Design Intern to join our team and support the Marketing & Creative Team in bringing the Skin Rocks brand to life across digital, social media, packaging, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry, working on real-world projects that will be seen by our community. This role is perfect for a design student, recent graduate, or aspiring designer who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and contribute fresh ideas to a growing brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Content Creation: Assist in creating digital assets for social media, emails, and website content. Support the team in developing visuals for marketing campaigns and product launches. Edit and retouch images for digital and print use.
- Brand & Packaging Support: Assist in the design and development of packaging concepts and marketing materials. Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.
- Photoshoot & Production Support: Assist on campaign and product photoshoots, supporting pre-production, on-set tasks, and post-production editing and retouching.
- Creative Process & Administration: Organize and manage creative assets, templates, and files. Assist in preparing presentations, mood boards, and design mockups. Research and suggest creative trends and design ideas to enhance our digital presence.
Skillset & Experience:
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong eye for design, typography, and composition.
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and digital-first design trends.
- Basic knowledge of video editing or animation (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or Canva) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of retouching & image editing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
