About the role
We're excited for an additional People & Culture Business Partner to join our innovative and agile People and Culture Team at MAB. The role centres around supporting our managers and leaders to develop high-performing teams through effective planning and partnering with the Colleague Experience, Recruitment and L&D functions. You'll foster a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment that creates a motivated and engaged workforce, optimising productivity and colleague retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with leaders in your functions, providing strategic HR guidance to help them achieve their business goals and objectives.
- Develop and deliver key initiatives in support of our People Strategy.
- Partner with the Recruitment and L&D managers on talent acquisition and training strategies – identifying resource or knowledge gaps within your teams and developing plans to address these.
- Support, guide and coach managers through complex ER issues.
- Provide policy and employment law guidance to both managers and colleagues.
- Monitor, report on and action talent and succession plans.
- Analyse trends and key-metrics to inform your decision making.
- Support the People Experience Business Partner with the implementation of communication, engagement and wellbeing initiatives, encouraging participation with your functions.
- Offer support and guidance to colleagues in relation to all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Advocate and set the standard for our expected behaviours, always leading by example.
- Share your ideas, opinions and unique perspectives on a daily basis – whether it relates to strategy, policy or BAU, we value and respect everyone’s opinion!
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have/be:
- Proven experience working as a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Analytical and goal orientated
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics (desired)
- Good knowledge of employment legislation
- Excellent understanding of HR best practice
- An ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- An innovative and creative approach, with a desire to think about things differently, bring your ideas to the table and disrupt the status quo!
