We are currently recruiting for a skilled and professional Residential Conveyancing Secretary/PA to join a reputable legal firm in Sandbach. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in conveyancing or a strong administrative background who thrives in a busy and varied environment. The role is a mixed position, incorporating personal assistant duties along with key typing and administrative support to the residential conveyancing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Assistant Duties:
- Managing schedules and diaries for the conveyancing team.
- Organising appointments and meetings, including client visits.
- Preparing and processing correspondence, including emails, letters, and memos.
- Handling phone calls, taking messages, and responding to client queries as required.
- Assisting with travel arrangements, if necessary.
- Typing and preparing legal documents related to residential property transactions, including contracts, completion statements, and letters.
- Organising and maintaining client files, ensuring all paperwork is up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation of property searches, dealing with local authorities and third parties as required.
- Managing post and dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence related to property transactions.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties to facilitate the smooth progression of transactions.
- Assisting with the management of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working as a secretary/PA, ideally within residential conveyancing or a legal environment.
- Strong typing and document preparation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally familiar with conveyancing software systems.
- A proactive, friendly, and professional approach to client and team interactions.
