The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
The individual will work to ensure all of the above returns are prepared correctly and submitted in a timely manner and to monitor and check that all regulatory changes are reflected within all relevant reports. Lastly, the bank offers hybrid working and good work-life balance.
Profile Criteria:
- Ideally fully-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with Bank of England statistical reporting experience. Our client will also consider those who are part-qualified / finalist or qualified by experience, if they possess relevant experience.
- Additional experience assisting with or preparing COREP returns would be beneficial.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Produce, reconcile and review all London Branch and statistical reports to ensure the accuracy of reporting and compliance with the Bank’s procedures.
- Answer any queries which either the Bank of England or the PRA may raise, either through investigations or by asking the relevant Account officer or team for their input.
- Presentation of the regulatory reports for review of the London Branch and the Bank’s management and take steps to comply with the action points from the meeting.
- Maintain the access levels of both BEEDS and Regdata.
- Preparation and compilation of management report for reporting to the Bank’s Head Office.
- Support the team in production of the daily prudential reports for internal monitoring of the management.
- Check that customer information is accurately reflected within EIC (Exposure Information Exposure) and MI system which feeds the returns.
- Preparation of reports relating to SONIA (Sterling Overnight Index Average) benchmarking requirements which consist of the SMMD and its Attestation.
- Preparation of the Single Customer View reports and support production when required.
- Documentation of changes to the regulatory reporting systems and processes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Industry experience in working for a comparable institution / bank.
- Expert knowledge of statistical, prudential and risk reporting requirements in a regulatory and risk context with experience of managing calculations and reporting of key ratios.
- Knowledge and exposure to banking and capital markets products from credit risk perspective.
- Proven ability to work with large amounts of financial and risk data.
- Experience in delivering financial or risk reports under pressure without compromising on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in communicating complex change requirements to key stakeholders.
- Change management / implementation experience and ability.
- Knowledge of local statistical reporting returns.
- Time-management skills to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
