As a Passive Fire Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys across a variety of building types—including residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed fire door, fire stopping, and compartmentation surveys.
- Provide high-quality data capture using digital tools and record management systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure survey accuracy and readiness for project delivery.
- Offer informal guidance to clients on fire safety principles and improvements.
- Conduct audits post-remediation to ensure quality assurance and compliance with scope.
- Maximise access to properties and deliver high volumes of quality survey work.
- Attend team meetings and maintain regular contact with your line manager and team.
- Complete all relevant health & safety documentation and follow RAMS and safe systems of work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience conducting passive fire surveys (fire doors/fire stopping essential).
- BM Trada knowledge or third-party accreditation is desirable.
- Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the business on-site.
- Confident using digital software for logging survey results and reports.
- UK driving licence essential (company vehicle provided).
