Facilities Management (FM) Client Lead
Role Purpose
The role is within the Key Account Management team which oversees service delivery for CBRE Property Management\’s Top 40 clients. You will be the FM Lead for 8-10 of the Top 40 clients. You will act as the main FM point of contact for the client, ensuring a seamless FM service delivery across their assets.
Key Responsibilities
The role of the FM Lead can vary from client-to-client, depending on their needs and the nature of their portfolio. Key responsibilities include the following but additional ones not listed may be required:
Ø Point of Contact: Lead client contact for all FM matters, including owning the resolution of issues and escalations when they arise,
Ø Client meetings: Attend client meetings, both in-person and virtually, as often as required, as the FM representative for CBREPM.
Ø Internal meetings: Attend regular internal client-team meetings, led by CSD, as FM representative for the client.
Ø Insurance: FM representative at client\’s insurance meeting with its nominated broker. Co-ordination of updates regarding claims, risk improvement actions and engineering inspections, ensuring compliance across assets.
Ø Service Charges: Join weekly service charge calls with CSD to review progress with outstanding service charge budgets and closures. Liaise with relevant FM colleague where needed to provide assistance and ensure KPIs are being met. May be required to join client meetings to discuss budgets and closures as part of KPI reviews.
Ø Health & Safety: Submission of monthly Health & Safety report to the client, and attendance at client meeting to present and discuss. Role will involve the review of any outstanding items and liaison with relevant FM colleague to assist in getting the item closed down, to ensure 100% compliance is maintained across the client\’s assets.
Ø Site visits: Inspections of properties across the client\’s portfolio, with Property and Facilities Managers where possible. A good understanding of the client\’s assets is essential to assist with query and issue resolution.
Ø Suppliers/ Debt: Assist where needed with supplier escalations for payment of overdue debts, to ensure services at site remain unaffected.
Ø ESG: Regular attendance with CBREPM ESG Managers where allocated, at ESG meetings with clients and their consultants, to review ESG matters such as utility data collection and Sustainability Action Plans. Dissemination of key ESG matters to wider FM team where no CBREPM ESG Manager in position.
Ø Host and Placemaking: Where these services are being rolled out, assist the FMs with the launch and ongoing support for both FMs and the Host Team.
Person Specification/Requirements
– Previous facilities management experience, at least to senior facilities manager level, with responsibility for multiple properties and ability to manage a varied workload.
– Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and people engagement skills.
– Client focused, particularly around developing relationships and inspiring confidence.
– High degree of knowledge reference of Health and Safety legislation, and environmental protection requirements.
– IT literate, together with an understanding and experience of industry specific IT applications.
– Good analytical, decision making, planning and organisational skills.
– Ability to work within a team and on own initiative within a pressurised environment.
– Previous experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver service excellence and meet all business and client needs.
– Significant contractor management and that of multiple service agreements and service charge budgets.
– Willing to travel to client meetings (that will likely be in London) as well as outside of region for site visits.
