As a Wordings Counsel, you\’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the management and drafting of wordings, ensuring the integrity of insurance contracts. Collaborating with business unit leaders across the organisation, you\’ll review and develop sound technical underwriting standards for assigned Lines of Business. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Undertake and facilitate policy wording development across all lines of business, ensuring robustness and accuracy.

• Liaise with underwriters and brokers.

• Review, negotiate, and agree on inwards insurance manuscript wordings for multi-classes.

• Resolve wording and documentation issues efficiently and to everyone\’s satisfaction.

• Manage and draft policy wordings to ensure compliance with underwriters\’ intended coverage.

• Maintain relationships with brokers and underwriters, resolving wordings and documentation issues promptly.

• Act as a technical reference point, providing clarity and advice on technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified Lawyer

Work Experience, & Knowledge:

• Working in an insurance litigation/coverage practice of a Law Firm

• Exposure to Lloyd\’s market
