My client is seeking a conduct risk expert to lead their conduct and complaints departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role will directly oversee the complaints department and product oversight, and work closely with underwriters, delegated authority, claims and compliance teams.
- Lead and supervising the ongoing implementation of the product oversight and review process, ensuring a consistent approach that meets all regulatory requirements and drives good customer outcomes.
- Manage relationships with underwriting teams, delegated authority teams, compliance and external regulators.
- Lead the firms approach to Conduct, working collaboratively across all functions to ensure streamlined review, oversight and reporting of all matters relating to conduct.
- Chair and attend any relevant conduct related forums or committees as required
- Assist with regulatory returns, thematic reviews and conduct related queries.
Experience:
- Strong experience in a conduct / customer focussed role ideally within the London insurance/reinsurance/ Lloyd\’s market
- Thorough knowledge of the insurance regulatory landscape
- Lloyd\’s market experience is advantageous
- Experience in driving regulatory change across multiple lines of business and territories
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience of working with senior management and board / committees
