A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Source Inspector to join our existing team of engineers in our Loughborough facility. As a Source Inspector, you will be working in conjunction with Inspection personnel, reporting directly to the Chief Inspector and Quality Management. The successful applicant for the vacancy shall be a flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.
What we offer for the position of Source Inspector:

- Day shift (Monday to Thursday 07:45 and 16:30 with lunch between 12:30 and 13:00. Finishing at 11:45 on Friday).

Source Inspector will be involved with:
- Performing in-house inspection as required by the supplier/customer Source Inspection requirements.
- Recording results for inspections undertaken, highlighting any non-conformance and accepting or rejecting finished items as required.
- Review supplier/customer quality records to allow the quality release certificate to be signed enabling product to be released.
- Raise and monitor non-conformance documentation as required during source inspection activity.
- Carry out any other inspection duties as requested.
- Health, safety and environment compliance.
Upon a successful interview, Preci Spark’s application process requests that a basic criminal record may be carried out.
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and specifications.
- Use of conventional measuring equipment.
Preferred knowledge, skills & experience:
- Experience of the Quality Management Standard AS9100.
- Experience of the AS13001 & AS9117 Aerospace Industry standard.
- Qualification to the above through the SAE DPRV Training course.
- Experience of working to Aerospace OEM requirements.
