Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Night Van Driver to join our team in Park Royal. This role involves the transportation and delivery of our premium food products to various locations, ensuring that our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational efficiency that Classic Fine Foods is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Driving: Operate a delivery van safely and responsibly, adhering to all road and traffic laws.
  • Timely Deliveries: Ensure all deliveries are made on time, maintaining the schedule set by the Transport Manager.
  • Load and Unload: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, providing excellent service at all times.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery paperwork accurately and submit it as required.
  • Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Must be over the age of 25.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience holding a valid driving license.
  • License: Must have a clean and valid UK driving license.
  • CPC Certification: Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is preferred but not required.
  • Health and Safety: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to driving and food transport.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle loading and unloading tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
