We are recruiting an HR Business Partner to support our Operation Centres across the South of the country. Copart UK is a leader in the vehicle remarketing industry, employing 1,700 teammates across 19 Operation Centres and three head office locations in Bedfordshire. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play an integral part in driving our people strategy, working closely with managers to create a high-performance culture. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert HR support and guidance on a wide range of topics such as employee relations and performance management.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance HR processes and overall business performance.
- Coaching and challenging managers to engage their teams, develop talent, and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
- Managing employee relations cases, as the first point of contact, escalating issues to the ER Partner when necessary.
- Ensuring the effective execution of HR projects in alignment with organisational goals.
- Analysing HR metrics and data to provide actionable insights that inform decision-making.
In addition, you’ll also focus on:
- Acting as the strategic link between HR and management, offering high-quality support and guidance.
- Driving and maintaining a high-performance culture through continuous process reviews.
- Partnering with managers across recruitment, talent development, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
What we need from you:
Essential Attributes
- An HR degree or equivalent CIPD qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, Generalist, or Advisor role.
- A strong passion for engagement and employee experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the employee life-cycle.
- An ambitious, energetic, and dedicated approach to driving positive people-related change.
- Stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerised HRIS.
- Comfort with presenting HR data to stakeholders.
- Strong employee relations experience, particularly in dealing with complex cases, ideally within an operational setting.
