M4 Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced van drivers in Gloucester for a temp to perm vacancy with our client. The company distributes building materials and is looking for van drivers for home deliveries and occasional site delivery.
Work is starting around 0630 and usually finishing around 1700. Sometimes due to route length it might take until 1900 latest. Work will involve some handball when delivering items and due to the nature of the job, a good level of fitness will be required. Also, due to insurance, you need to be over 25 years of age. Work will involve driving a Luton Van, so previous experience is highly desirable.
What we offer in return:
- Steady work Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, with a contract after 12 weeks for successful candidates
- £13.50 per hour pay; minimum of 8 hours paid per day; 45 mins unpaid break for hours over 8
- Nice, clean work environment (brand new site); onsite parking
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have previous van driving experience (ideally with a Luton Van)
- Be physically fit and okay with manual handling
- Have no more than 6 points on full UK licence (depending on code)
- Have a positive attitude and be reliable
