Our client in the heavy manufacturing industry has a vacancy for a trade professional with Import/Export documentation and compliance experience. As Import/Export Coordinator, you'll be the vital link between internal teams, hauliers, and freight partners, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strict compliance with UK and international trade regulations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation of goods, working closely with Sales, Operations, and external hauliers.
- Handle import/export documentation, customs entries, and compliance reporting (including IPR, OGELs, VAT & Duties).
- Be the main contact for freight forwarders and internal stakeholders on all transport-related matters.
- Completion of all import/export shipping documentation.
- Monitor and update internal processes, documentation, and licences in line with current legislation.
- Support quotations and service updates for internal and external teams.

- Experience working in imports/exports, ideally within manufacturing or logistics.
- Confident handling customs paperwork, shipping documentation, and freight coordination.
