Applications are invited for this replacement post to join seven other consultants (6 whole time equivalent) in providing Haematology Services in Tayside. The post is based at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and Perth Royal Infirmary. The postholder will have a sub-specialist interest in Lymphoma. Further specific interests may be developed following discussion with the existing consultants.

Ninewells Hospital is a busy teaching hospital in the North East of Scotland, with a popular Medical School and extensive involvement in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching. The department has six full-time equivalent Specialty Trainees and 3 foundation doctors. The department provides BCSH level 3 services including an active autologous stem cell transplantation programme. The laboratory provides an extensive range of routine and specialist tests, for investigations of bleeding disorders, immunophenotyping and haemoglobinopathies.
