An exciting opportunity to develop and improve services for 4,326 patients in North-West area of Edinburgh has arisen due to a desire to return a directly managed practice to an independent contractor. This is the first of a number of opportunities that will be available this calendar year.

The vacancy would suit those who want to lead a primary care team as it develops new ways of working and grows its patient list; at the same time as continuing to provide and improve traditional Primary Care services.

Currently the practice operates from a purpose built, Health board leased premises in the Parkgrove area of the city that will be available to the new service provider.

The practice area covers both a large established population as well as new residents attracted to the many new homes in the area.
