We are seeking a skilled Senior Human Resources Officer to join our team to support the achievement of business and people objectives, by providing a stakeholder focused service. Assisting Line Managers and our employees through professional, commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support., * Respond to queries from managers and employees providing effective HR advice and guidance on employment matters, HR processes, policies and procedures

Support and assist in employee relations meetings such as; disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance reviews

Keep up to date with the latest UK Employment Law and HR best practice to ensure advice and guidance is accurate and up to date

Contribute to the review and updating of the HR policies and supporting documentation in line with current legislation and best practice, as directed

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices

Provide advice to Line Managers on all employee relations matters, presenting potential risks and recommendations

Support Line Managers through monitoring, reporting and managing sickness, absence and lateness and advising where appropriate action should be taken, accurately preparing documentation where required

Support Line Managers through monitoring and managing the performance management process and misconduct, accurately preparing documentation where required

Manage the exit interview process and provide effective reporting on information collected

Undertake HR project work when required

Support the business with the production of relevant data to drive HR metrics and KPIs

Provide support to the Talent Acquisition Partner to deliver a candidate focussed recruitment process

Provide support to drive the company’s diversity and inclusion agenda

Provide support with payroll and administration including maintaining the HR system when required

Proven work experience as an HR assistant//officer/advisor, or similar role and/or CIPD Level 5 qualified and above

Up to date knowledge of employment legislation

Experience of working with and advising senior managers

Strong communication skills and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business

Demonstrable ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload

Knowledge and experience of supporting multiple stakeholders, * Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
