Job Description
This is a great time to join the growing Engineering team at our clients highly Automated Distribution Centre in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to strengthen the already established engineering team who can confidently take ownership of breakdowns and tasks seeing them through to completion, whether that be on their own or working with the team.
Working to a planned maintenance schedule you will be maintaining everything from belt and roller conveyors, hanging garment system, shuttles, totes, box erectors, palletisers, cranes to name a few, you really will get exposure to a wide range of equipment and automated retrieval systems at this site.

Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer
- Safely carry out planned maintenance across the site ensuring maintenance procedures are followed.
- Update records of tasks and work completed including any spare parts that have been used from the store using the CMMS system.
- Be an integral part of the engineering team responding to breakdowns establishing route cause analysis to limit breakdown reoccurring and improving machine reliability and performance.
- Service and repair of equipment on site
- Ability to Work at Height
- Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
- Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
- Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Hands on ownership of issues
Qualifications, Skills and Experience of a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer
- NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 Minimum Multi Skilled with strong technical knowledge
- A solid understanding of PLC's
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
- Computer Literate
- Experience in updating CMMS system

- Salary £45,000 – £52,000 DOE
