The Role
This is a consultative, solutions-led sales role suited to a driven Business Development professional who thrives on building relationships and uncovering complex client needs. You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging new prospects, understanding their business challenges, and presenting tailored intelligence solutions that add real strategic value. You'll need to be comfortable networking within the financial services ecosystem and have a natural curiosity about markets, trends, and dealmaking activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities within financial services, insurance, legal, and related sectors
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers (e.g., analysts, partners, strategy heads, investment teams)
- Understand client needs and match them with the company's range of data and intelligence solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and demos through to contract negotiation and closing
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and research teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records, reporting regularly to senior management
