Our client, a prestigious Birmingham City Centre multi-use venue is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high level, confidential assistance to the Chief Executive Officer. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract and because of the nature of the work, candidates from a governance and/or legal background will be of particular interest.
Specific duties include:
- Provide high level, confidential personal assistance and administrative support to the Chief Executive.
- Provide personal assistance and administrative support to the Trustees and members of the Executive Team on an occasional basis as required.
- Send out induction packs to new board members and all relevant paperwork and forms for statutory checks to be completed.
- Act as an ambassador for the Executive team and present a positive and efficient image of the organisation.
- Develop and maintain an electronic day file system to provide details of the Chief Executive's daily activities and all relevant supporting documentation including meeting papers, travel itineraries and relevant contact details.
The candidate:
- Proven experience of working with and providing business support to a senior executive.
- Recent PA/Governance experience in a similar role operating at an Executive level.
- Demonstrable experience of acquiring expertise in a business to facilitate the taking of low-level business decisions on behalf of executives.
- Have dealt with legal or governance information using care and discretion.
