Front of House

Berkeley Scott Recruitment are currently looking for temporary front of house staff to join our team in and around the Edinburgh area. Pay rate varies between £12.50 – £13 per hour depending on the client and location. Pay is on a weekly basis directly into your bank account.

All roles are accessible by public transport; however, having a car would be advantageous. Please note that this is not a permanent position; it is temporary/ad-hoc work in and around the Edinburgh area and not guaranteed hours each week. It is only work when work is available.

Duties will include:

• Working on the till serving customers in a fast and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service
• Cash handling
• Clearing and wiping down tables
• Maintain stock of necessary beverages and condiments

Skills and experience required for this role:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Barista trained would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast paced and sometimes challenging environments
• Right to work in the UK
• Good team player as well as ability to work on own initiative
• Take pride in your work
