Unknown Resourcing are seeking an experienced Plant fitter / Plant Engineer. This is a field based position as Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer on construction heavy machinery, plant equipment including diggers, excavators, dumpers, telehandlers etc.

The successful Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer will travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment, door to door travel paid, this is a rewarding position to join a growing team, comes with competitive salary, benefits and overtime, company van, fuel card inclusive.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer you will be tasked with the maintenance, service and repair of a fleet of construction machinery and equipment.

Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer Responsibilities

• On-site diagnostics of faults with the plant equipment

• Reactive and preventative repair of the plant machinery

• Documenting and filing service information / records

• Completion of all work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

• Representing the business in a professional customer focused manner at all times

Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer Requirements:

• NVQ Plant Mechanics / Maintenance or equivalent, or time served
• Experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance, or a related field
• Knowledge of construction machinery / plant equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Full UK driving licence
