I\’m recruiting for an Automation Engineer for an industrial manufacturer, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining, upgrading, and improving electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, repairing and inspecting equipment to ensure efficiency and safety, as well as supporting hardware and software updates for continuous improvement. You\’ll also be involved in system upgrades, installations, and project support, working closely with the team to enhance operational performance. If you have previous experience as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of electrical and process control systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Skills required for the Automation Engineer:

• Previous experience as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Have an engineering qualification.
• Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Experience with system upgrades, software updates, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
