Role Overview: The Indirect Procurement Sourcing Lead will be responsible for delivering sourcing activity across a range of indirect categories, working closely with stakeholders across the business to shape sourcing strategies and ensure value delivery. This role sits within a collaborative, forward-thinking procurement function that values agility, stakeholder engagement, and a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market analysis, RFX execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Develop and implement category strategies across key indirect spend areas (e.g. Marketing, Professional Services, IT, HR, FM).
  • Build strong internal relationships to influence and understand business needs.
  • Deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation in line with business objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with internal procurement policy and external regulatory standards.
  • Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in indirect procurement/category management.
  • Demonstrable experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives (ideally within a blue-chip or matrixed organisation).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and commercial skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • CIPS qualified (or working towards) preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving procurement environment.
