A Top 10 contractor is searching for a Bid Manager to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bid Manager to secure 'key' design and build projects across the East Midlands ranging from £5m to £100m.
With a turnover of £1bn+, our client is one of the UK's leading construction groups, operating across the education, custodial, commercial, retail, defence, leisure, and high-rise accommodation sectors. They offer the opportunity to work on some of the region's most prestigious projects ranging from £5m - £100m. They are also partners on several frameworks including MOJ, MOD, P23+ and the Department for Education (DfE), and have a pipeline of £3bn over the next 5 years with a full order book for 2025 / 2026.
Requirements:
- Meet time pressures to deliver high quality submissions on time
- Display a creative flair and ensure high standards of accuracy
- Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
- High level of attention to detail
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Secure frameworks and competitively tendered schemes
- Manage tender process and submit work-winning bids
- Develop bid strategy best-practice tendering
- Attend PQQ and bid meetings
