The role of the Business Development Executive Roofing & Cladding Products will involve:

Business Development Executive position selling a range of various roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings

Predominantly selling into builders merchants and roofing merchants

Dealing with customer enquiries offering technical advice and solutions

Responsible for proactively generating new business

Raising quotations, sales orders and purchase orders

Working in tandem with the Regional Account Manager to fulfil merchant requirements

Building and developing strong business relations encouraging repeat custom

Providing an exceptional standard of customer service at all times

The ideal applicant will be Business Development Executive Roofing & Cladding Products with:

Must have B2B sales experience, proactive Account Management or Business Development experience would be advantageous

Ideally will have a working knowledge of the construction industry

Ideally will have experience selling roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings, however not essential

Strong interpersonal and relationship building qualities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious

IT literate (Microsoft Office)
