Role Purpose
Supporting the build of Pre-Fabricated Packaged Utility Room in plumbing activities each week to reach customer delivery dates. The successful applicant for this role will enjoy being part of a vibrant team, working in an enjoyable atmosphere alongside great colleagues. Free lunch and snacks are provided daily.
Principal Responsibilities/Duties
- Alignment of tasks (Pipe bending, soldering, pipe fitting etc.)
- To carry out mechanical work with pipework from 15 to 28mm.
- Building of sub assemblies either by yourself or with trained staff.
- Completion of all tasks in line with team leaders' instructions.
- Carrying out water/air testing on completed units.
- Training of others when needed for plumbing support.
- Experience of working with soldered copper imperative.
- Experience with working with either copper crimped fitting or PEX systems beneficial.
- Continuous inspections of parts used.
- Record any problems for improvements using the IOR form.
- Keep work area and tools tidy at all times applying the 5s method.
- Work to safety policies.
- Apply the agreed ways of working.
