The Manufacturing Training Coordinator Opportunity:

As Manufacturing Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all teammates are signed off and competent in their respective working areas, working alongside the Quality Assurance Manager and Manufacturing Team Leaders to update and create Standard Operating Procedures to improve the overall standards in the production facility.

What your day-to-day might look like:

  • Recognising gaps in production processes and recommending tailored standard operating procedures to address and resolve them
  • Developing and documenting production procedures aligned with BRC standards
  • Leading training meetings, creating the agendas and discussing key training topics
  • Delivering training on standard operating procedures to the manufacturing team
  • Presenting high standard training briefs to the production team
  • Creating and updating a training matrix that clearly shows training compliance with approved Procedures
  • Maintaining up to date training records for all manufacturing teammates
  • Identifying skills gaps in teammates' knowledge of processes and procedures, and coordinating with Production Team Leaders to rectify this
  • Supporting the Technical team during internal and external audits by providing expertise and documentation related to training compliance and procedures
  • Assisting the Assistant Manufacturing Manager in scoping external training courses
  • Collaborating with the Learning and Development Manager and other members of the wider team to ensure training is synchronised with strategic initiatives
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting on training performance data, identifying trends and providing feedback to enhance training standards and meet targets

About you:

  • Previous experience working in a Food manufacturing or similar environment with GDSI e.g. BRCGS
  • Able to work confidently on G-Suite programmes e.g. Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Proficient in navigating and utilising Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver, track, and manage training content
  • Skilled in using authoring tools to create engaging and interactive training materials and content
  • Able to quickly learn how to use multiple in-house systems and platforms
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and have the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Self-driven, proactive problem solver and ambitious
