Are you an experienced Concrete Boom Pump Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are excited to welcome a dedicated professional to this family-run organisation! In this role, you will drive concrete pump trucks across various project sites in the East of England. You will work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend hours.

Person Specification:

  • Prior experience operating concrete pumps or similar heavy machinery.
  • Full HGV License with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.
  • Valid NPORS Card.
  • An enthusiastic, reliable, customer-focused, and punctual individual.
  • Strong communication skills for positive internal and external relationships.
  • A good level of mathematical understanding.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with the local area is beneficial.
  • Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Evaluate site conditions and work with contractors or supervisors to properly park and set up the truck.
  • Operate the boom and concrete pump to precisely place concrete as instructed, emphasising safety and accuracy.
  • Load and unload concrete pump attachments, ensuring safe usage.
  • Clean concrete pumps daily to maintain good working conditions and minimise breakdowns.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are in place before, during, and after each project.
