Managing Director required by an award winning Plumbing & Heating Services company who retain a loyal and satisfied customer base in their area. They are a company that takes pride in their staff and the integrity and quality of their work. Unlike almost their competitors, they employ all their staff as permanent PAYE employees, with no sub-contractors and hence no hidden costs to be passed onto customers. They are a fast-growing business, with office branches in Orpington and Beckenham, providing services within the North Kent and South London areas.
They are looking for an ambitious, diligent, and process-driven individual who shares their values and work ethics. The individual should be keen to grow with the company and will be expected to put forward new suggestions for process improvements within the office and the broader operational scale. They are a small to medium-sized firm and a role of this importance demands that the applicant be invested and committed to the success of the business.
Main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all office staff complete their daily tasks (monitored via Trello) before leaving each day.
- Acting as the first point of management/escalation on any issues within the business.
- Monitoring the daily New Posts queue in our CRM, around which the daily workload revolves and allocating the appropriate resources to ensure the operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Attending weekly/monthly meetings with the CEO to highlight any pertinent operational changes/updates.
- To introduce and promote changes within the operations department to grow the business efficiently and sustainably.
- Acting as a bridge between the Accounts team and the Operations team, investigating any payments and accounting queries as and when they arise.
