On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Legal Secretary to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to fee earners in the private client department
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, lasting powers of attorney, and general correspondence
- Maintain and organise legal files and documents
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Communicate with clients and other fee earners
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
Experience required for the role:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or similar role preferred but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Discretion in handling confidential information
