At CWA, we’re at the forefront of building Sizewell C—a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a pivotal role in our clean energy future. I am thrilled to invite you to apply for the position of Senior Plant Engineer, a critical role within our Marine and Tunnels (M+T) scope as part of the Civil Works Programme of SZC. As our Senior Plant Engineer, you will support pre-construction activities, develop plant strategies, and ensure that our projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your role will include: Supporting the development and submission of the Marine and Tunnel Plant strategy. Identifying plant requirements and coordinating with the Plant Manager and CWA Transversal Plant team. Developing preventive maintenance plans and establishing monitoring systems for consumables and spare parts. Assisting in the selection and procurement of plant packages and suppliers. Applying Continuous Improvement principles and leveraging lessons learned from previous projects. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all project team members. We’re looking for someone who: Has a proven track record in logistics and plant requirements on construction sites, particularly within tunnelling activities. Demonstrates strong management skills, including project management, financial management, and change management. Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills and can develop and maintain effective networks. Holds relevant qualifications and experience, including a CSCS card and SMSTS or equivalent.
