Otto James Consulting is supporting an Altrincham based Renewable Energy organisation in their search for a Finance Manager to head up their Solar Assets Division. Our client is at the forefront of global technology within the renewable arena. Since their inception in 2019, they have seen year on year growth in sales, market share and international footprint.
The new role of Finance Manager for Solar Assets is a green field role, for an ambitious Qualified Accountant, who is looking for a career step change within an organization on an upwards trajectory.
The Role:
As Finance Manager you will be in a pivotal role, engaging with both the Commercial and Transactional sides of finance, while also providing support across the organisations wider management team which will include HR and Projects. This is a conduit role which supports the senior board internally, while also sitting at a visible level to the organisations key investors. Due to the scope of this role, you will enjoy a position which develops every part of the organisation through you and the senior managements teams vision.
This is a new role, and my client is looking to appoint at senior level, and require a fully Qualified Accountant who will be able to help drive and create robust and effective internal controls to support the organisations growth strategies. My client is aware that they need to engage the best talent in this role as they require an exceptional individual who will deliver in a career defining role.

- Board Level Engagement
- Cost saving analysis & organisational efficiencies rationalisation
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Investment opportunity
- WIP Management of the annual audit process
- Stress testing / Cash flow forecasting
My client is looking to bring on board a talented Finance Manager who understands the complexities of an organisation which has a diverse and varied client base and a uniquely funded revenue stream. Attention to detail is key, as is a strong communicative nature and the ability to manage multiple disciplines across the organisation.
Your Profile:
Applicants must be qualified and be able to demonstrate how they have provided commercial, operational and strategic direction to help organizational growth while also directing efficiencies to finance, HR and Operations.
