Do you hold extensive experience conducting test and inspections within the scope for compliance? The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Supervisor to assist in the successful delivery of diverse projects within a nuclear environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams to ensure construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your work will provide valuable exposure to senior stakeholders and project teams, and you will be part of a talented, ambitious team. This is a contract role and has been deemed inside IR35 Duration: 12 Months Location: Helensburgh Your duties and responsibilities will be Act as stated in the NEC 4 contract and in a spirit of mutual trust and respect. Conduct Tests and inspections of the Works for compliance with the Scope. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing or nominate a suitable substitute. Communicate and issue any documents as required by Contract [ECI, ECC & short form]. Notify Defects and carry out searches. Take account of Defects at Completion and the defects date. Advise the Project Manager of any concerns or issues relating to the Contractor’s work or performance. Attend safety meetings in accordance with the DIO HSE management plan schedule. Review and comment on the Contractor’s Test & Commissioning documentation. Manage the commissioning team workload and output. Preparing statistical reports on Quality performance. Liaise and consult with base personnel and other stakeholders throughout project life cycle to help achieve an efficient and effective project delivery. Ensure Contractors training records/certification has been passed to DC and the base Ap’s as required by their operations.You will have the following qualifications & experience Excellent knowledge of NEC4 contracts and an understanding of CDM and Health and Safety. ONC/OND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). Excellent working knowledge of NEC4 contracts. CITB CSCS Gold card.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
