Support many of the biggest brands in the UK. The Role As a Release Manager you will work as part of an existing team on delivery apps and functionalities for devices. The release is done monthly and follows Agile delivery framework. In this role travel to Delivery Office locations within UK may be required in addition to occasional weekend support as per requirements. Key responsibilities: Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. Coordinate with multiple scrum team on release plan and code versioning. Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. Maintain a release repository and managing key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists. Coordinating with suppliers and vendors on device deployment issues/bugs and track resolution Prepare dashboard/view of devices estate, monitor app versions, OS versions and track deployments Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: Extensive experience as Release Manager. Good understanding of Pre and Post Release deployment activities. Good at creating and managing Release calendars. Understanding of Release deployment activities on Android devices, understand the risks involved and act on them. Good at managing, planning, scheduling, and controlling a software build through different stages and environments. Exposure to Agile ways of working. Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skill Good understanding of working in Azure DevOPS environment, code branching Strong Communication skills and customer facing experience Experience of mentoring more junior developers and directing/organising the work of team Experience in client facing role Assertive and with management skills, ability to plan and organisation skills.
