Senior Executive Assistant & Business Manager 6 Month Contract cc.£40k Our client, a professional body and learned society, is looking for a capable and adaptable Senior Executive Assistant & Business Manager to support its London-based leadership team, for a period of 6 months. This role, reporting to the Commercial and Finance Director, will be essential in providing strong administrative and logistical support to senior management as the organisation implements its strategic plan and engages with a wide network of professionals worldwide. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions, including high-level diary management, coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and organising logistics for the Presidential Team, Council, and Council Executive Committee. This role also involves overseeing the risk process for the Council and providing logistical support for travel arrangements, working closely with staff and volunteers. Additional responsibilities include acting as an office manager, liaising with the building landlord, and coordinating on-site meeting facilities and catering. This dynamic role requires a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant or Office Manager with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key attributes include excellent communication, prioritisation, and time management skills, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. The successful candidate will also provide seasonal support across Events, Membership, and Finance departments. With the potential for international travel and occasional non-standard hours, this position offers a unique opportunity to support the organisation’s mission on a global scale. The headquarters are in London and office time will be hybrid, with 2 days in office (Wednesday’s and Thursday’s) and 3 days remote, with a 37.5 hour working week.
